Geometric Cabinet - Montessori

Children work with scientifically designed concrete materials, which provide the keys to explore the world and to develop basic cognitive skills. The materials are designed so that the child can recognize the error for himself and take responsibility for his own learning.

Now I want to focus on one of this concrete material: Geometric Cabinet - Montessori.

Through this material, students are able to start differentiating different geometric shapes. They begin to understand each of them and identify them quickly.

This is a material dedicated to the preschool courses and even to the first grade of primary education.

Therefore, it is a material dedicated to the visualization of the first geometric figures that must be learned. In addition, in this way, children are able to identify them according to their shapes and sides instead of knowing how to identify them by name. 

Thus, this material becomes a much more motivational and meaningful learning for students.
