My intervention proposal
Hello everyone! Today I would like to share with you my ideas to work with students lines (straight line and curve line), perpendicular, secant line and parallel, for the 3rd grade of primary education. The first thing that I thought was that I would not give to the students an explication and book's exercises, because in that way they would not understand completely those concepts. So I decided to join geometry and real life, and show them that the geometry is everywhere and not just in concepts and books. My proposal started with a riddle: today we are going to work with something that is always everywhere, what is it? After three minutes saying a lot of things, students guessed right that was the lines and we started to point different lines in class. I explained them the different types of lines and crossings with real examples of objects inside the class, and when they understand it, we went to the playground for a better comprehension.
